LUMI is a wedding and events venue located in Southside in what was formally known as the old BEBCO building.
Exposed brick and restored hardwood floors span the width of the ballroom and is framed by four large windows that captures city life in the Magic City. Five thousand square feet of raw space awaits for guests to bring their vision to life. LUMI includes two "getting ready" rooms, two bathrooms, and a prep kitchen space for vendors. We are nestled next to some of Birminghams favorite local eats, souvenir shop, pedal tours, boutique hotels, fitness activities as well as a local micro brewery.
The Battery makes it easy for out-of-towners to enjoy activities all while staying close to LUMI.
PARKING
In addition to public street parking, Birmingham Parking Authority’s Deck 8 at 2021 3rd Avenue South is only a 0.2-mile stroll away.
Valet Parking is recommended.
On-site parking must remain open for other businesses in The Battery and their customers. Please no event parking. Vendors should leave hazard lights to unload and move vehicle before to a street parking space before setup. *Appointments are welcomed to park in on-site parking during visits.
